It’s time to take care of your mental health

I was delighted to be interviewed about mental health and how dental professionals can improve their wellbeing and work-life balance, a subject close to my heart. I spoke about how striking the balance is ever more important in our busy lives, from finding small, sustainable ways to reduce daily stress to planning time away to decompress and recharge; something I offer through my yoga and wellbeing retreats. We discuss The Retreat at Barwhillanty Estate, Castle Douglas, Scotland and how I hope to encourage people to experience something different and have an opportunity to escape from their normal lives. “It’s all about embracing nature and the outdoors.”

Dr Maria Papavergos is part of the editorial team for Dentistry Scotland.
