I was delighted to write a series of articles for The Dentist magazine, exploring stress management and ways to achieving the work/life balance. My first article explores simple strategies for stress management, which are also preventative strategies. I offer advice on ways to decompress and ideas to implement into our daily routines to optimise our wellbeing.
My second article in the series shines a light on the importance of practising what we preach in the profession. I discuss ways we can support our patients, our colleagues and ourselves for better wellness in the workplace.
Making lifestyle and nutrition matter is my next article, where I examine the impact of diet on oral health and discuss the importance of balanced, healthy eating. I also provide tips on foods which support the oral microbiome.
My final article focuses on yoga as a tool for better health. I explain the benefits of yoga and the positive effects it can have on emotional and physical wellbeing.
