Fife College Wellbeing Festival

It was a pleasure to feature as part of this forward-thinking festival and share some insights into optimising our oral health and overall wellbeing. My talk was centred around 10 things you didn’t know about your oral health. Here are my top lines to bear in mind…

  1. Brush your teeth BEFORE breakfast (and before bed).
  2. Try to avoid mouth breathing, especially at night.
  3. Take up yoga!
  4. Switch from smoothies to whole fruit.
  5. Take the lemon out your water.
  6. Don’t forget your vitamin D.
  7. Whitening toothpastes might make your teeth yellower.
  8. Remember to scrape your tongue.
  9. Clean teeth improve fertility.
  10. A healthy mouth increases longevity.
